Guardian of the Chrome Coast by MoulinBleu Guardian of the Chrome Coast by MoulinBleu
This image was pretty straightforward for me. I just sketched it up one night and spent a little under a week rendering it out. It's actually huge which is why it took so long, I think had it been laptop sized I would have been done within a day. I can't wait to print it out at school though. Pretty inspired by the warm golden lighting in the work of Greg Staples and Chris Rahn, among others.

Anyway, check out my blog and follow if you'd like!-[link]

That gold/red on green is perfect. The only thing I can say is, in addition to the reflection you put for the creature, there should also be a shadow that is cast onto the surface, from the direct light source that you have.

I love this picture. The colours look great, very dynamic, and the creature itself looks very unique. Really well done.

The non-existent feet lend a sort of delicacy to the otherwise sweeping face and upper wings of the creature. Interesting paradox, and it makes me look closer. I love this! It almost seems like a campaign ad for a fictional utopia.
